BLD ROCHESTER APOSTOLATES
MANAGEMENT APOSTOLATE
The Management Apostolate ensures the proper administration and enhancement of the personnel, material, financial and logistics, resources and capabilities of the Community, in accordance with existing BLD Policies and Guidelines.
“…but all things should be done decently and in order.” (1Cor 14:40)
EVANGELIZATION APOSTOLATE
Evangelization refers to the development and implementation of the various Encounter Programs and Life in the Spirit Seminars of the BLD Community, particularly of individual BLD Districts, both for adults and youth. Evangelization aids Mission in conducting and monitoring such Encounter Programs and Life in the Spirit Seminars in outreaches and parish-assisted projects.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
(Mt 28:19-20)
PASTORAL APOSTOLATE
The Pastoral Apostolate is tasked to oversee the Pastoral Care Program of the BLD Community in response to God’s covenant love, by nurturing and caring for each other, thus bringing to maturity in Christ, all those whom the Holy Spirit has entrusted in the Community.
“…tend the flock of God that is in your charge, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion but willingly, as God would have you do it – not for sordid gain but eagerly.” (1Pet 5:2)
FORMATION APOSTOLATE
The Formation Apostolate oversees the Christian Discipleship Formation Program to ensure the spiritual growth of community members for service in the BLD Covenant Community and in the larger church.
